Nicely done 1863 Zouave. Not sure original builder. It has an as new .58, 1:72 twist replacement barrel by Whitacre Machine Works. Competition sights. Barrel channel of stock bedded.Lock polished and replicated Remington markings and 1863 date added. Buttplate tang has US and P stamp. Very nice wood. Bore is pristine. Ready for any non- N-SSA competition, hunting or target shooting.

Only because it lacks the bayonet lug which is available as a repro part and easily soldered on. This would be a great skirmish rifle.

and the long range rear sight is also a
disqualification, all 1863 remington
zouave types had 3 leaf sights that I
know of. Is nice looking though
