looks like a great rifle.. but alot of people like the unmodified TC Hawken from factory. plus its a kit. historically kits don/t bring same money as factory finish. for some reason. if I didn't have a few I would get this for a good shooter.

Me too! Was looking at it hard, but it would have been my fifth T/C in as many months.
Good catch, I had the local toy store holding an unmentionable style for me else I'd snagged that.

Recieved it today and it is clear that Whiteeagle58 is a better gunsmith than photographer. It is even more beautiful than his photographs.

And Whiteeagle58 is great to work with - good communication, prompt shipping and the rifle was packaged extremely well. Only issue was the post office, to keep things period correct, apparently contracted with Butterfield to bring it by a very slow stagecoach. Not Whiteeagle58's fault; he is great to do business with and I highly recommend his craftsmanship too.
