@Spikebuck

Let's see if I can describe the hooks and how find them and still abide by the rules. The brand is APBFH. The model is 5" iron decorative wall hooks. They come 2 to a pack and are $14.99 a pack. They can be found online at Amazon.

Now unfortunately they are made in China. That said they hold an advertised 30# per hook and are stout as can be. I used them upside down. There is plenty of room for a side by side set of shotgun barrels. The holes will need to be countersunk in order to accommodate screws that will fit flush.

That is one outstanding gun rack. I made mine out of a slab of rough sawn cedar and old hand forged RR spikes lined with felt.

Well I got it done. See this thread for how it got started-

https://www.muzzleloadingforum.com/threads/staining-rough-sawn-pine.125392/
The pine would not take stain satisfactorily so I bought some cedar. It was suggested in the other thread and I built a bow rack out of cedar years ago and it turned out well.

Finish is just BLO. No stain needed. The cross stitch dog in the center is very old. Likely pre ww2. It does NOT look thread bare like the pic suggests. The camera on my tablet is horrid. She wanted it displayed and putting it there was her idea. Holds 4 long rifles and has a very sturdy shelf. Rifle hooks are padded with leather.

Anyhow here it is-
