I voted yes to keep the modern muzzleloader forum.

I have never so much as handled a inline and want nothing to do with them in any manner. But, so long as a fire wall is strictly enforced and maintained to keep cross dresser troublemaking types from both the trad and modern forums from stirring up bovine fecal matter, I have no problem with it.

If Claude has, or should come to find the grief is not worth the trouble of maintaining both, then I defer to his judgment.

Agreed!

If they do not have their own place to play they will be over here bothering us!

:results:

I'm sure this will come as a "shocker" to most of you,.... but, I voted to "keep" the modern muzzleloader rooms! :peace:

.... I'm also hope'n ther will be "new rules" posted to discourage the post'n of modern components in some of the more traditional rooms, 'cause I feel thet "modern components" belong in the Modern Muzzleloader section "regardless" of the rifle ther be'n used in!! :m2c:

I voted, but didn't read it right. I thought it was a YES vote to keep it, so i voted yes. Then i see that a yes vote is to drop it. So can someone change or disregard my vote. I think they should have their own place, that keeps them from infringing on our place.

I voted to Keep the inline/modern forum but where can we vote to get rid of the inline/ modern guns ?:hmm:

Hairsmith :imo:

I voted we should keep the Modern ML categories.
But then that should come as no surprise.
:winking:

When we take our smoothbores out to the range or for a hunt od we jump on a horse or do we drive a modern vehicle to get there. Hopefully inliners will read the traditional stories and want to get involved. Lighten Up!
NIT WIT :nono:

As was said,I don't embrace modern mls'but I think haveing a spot for them on the forum is a good idea. :thumbsup:There are several here that use both! :peace:It's also an oppertunity to entice thease folks into "REAL" Muzzleloading, that havn't been exposed to Traditional Ideals. ::

Hey....I dont know what one of them sabooo's things is an I shore dont wanna know.
I always had to stand " inline" to go to the bathroom when I went to school here in WEST VIRGINNY....

as i stated in the vote .
i think they are ok here and i dont see why they shouldnt have a place to discuse their weapons .
however my oppenion as to where they should be alowed to be used in to not have them in a muzzle loader season . sorry folks thats the facts :peace:

I tried to vote but was denied. It said that there was already a vote from my ip address. I know for certain that I never voted before, so what gives?

ANYWAY....I think that the modern forum should stay. Many traditional shooters started out as modern shooters and looked for more challenge, and so gravitated toward traditional. We should not divide ourselves, you all know the rhetoric I could spew here so I'll save it.

I VOTE THAT MODERN SHOULD STAY...(I don't shoot modern,BTW)

Don't try to get me to say OK to allowing modern ML to be used in the late primitive season in PA though, cuz it aint gonna happen.

...Give them an inch and they,ll take a mile???
does old school fit in with Star WARS STUFF??etc...etc...etc..?
the headline on this forum also says
" KEEPING TRADITION ALIVE"
Cant ya jest look into the future when our LOVING government outlaws sidelocks because they are too dangerous and they only permit modern inlines......etc...etc...etc..

:curse:
I did the same thing, voted "yes" to keep it. :sorry:
I've no problem with them. Maybe they'll wonder over and see the error of their ways ( :peace: ).
Never had an interest in them, but I find it interesting to check-in once in awhile (really not all that "totally" different when you think about it with an open mind as to "problems").
Anyways,,, why not. :m2c:

 oops, I also voted "yes" to keep them on the board. :sorry: I don't use them, nor would I want to use them, however, I think the forum's on this board seem to work well.

Hud..

I voted to keep it, for a couple a reasons. First off every once in a while someone over there on the dark side has a good idea :haha: Secondly how else can we converse and convert them from the dark side. And last but not least there's a few cross-dressers around, like some guys from the U.P. (T-Quam)

I voted to keep the in-line forum. I do not own and it is
difficult for me to imagine circumstances under which I would purchase an in-line muzzleloader. But I respect the right of others, however mis-guided they may be, to use them. And I feel they should have a forum of their own wherein they may discuss the peculiarities of their chosen firearms. In my opinion, the sport of muzzleloading can only benefit from having more folks involved in it. Even if some of them shoot stainless steel, plastic stocked sabot-tossers with no discernable lock on the side of said gun where it belongs. At least they know which end of the gun to put against their shoulder. Well, most of 'em, anyway.

I own 5 traditional MLs (4 flinters, one caplock) and 2 in-lines. Seems to me there's room enough here for both. With all the anti-gun nonsense out there these days (especially here in Canada), we surely don't need to divide ourselves along traditional/modern lines... :imo:

I voted backwards..picked yes thinking that meant to keep it so please adjust for my mistake. I meant to vote to keep the modern inline forum.

I left a hanging chad.

I voted to keep them in the Forum. Would hate to deny RollingB a hobby (pestering in-lines, that is ::).

But I still think they should have to use a patched round ball for m/l seasons. :winking:

I voted to keep the inline forum, although I dont own one, and probably never will. I have flinters and cap-locks. Like Howard said: theres room enough for both. Besides, I have the option of just not reading an inline post if I dont want to.(but I still do sometimes) I shoot what I want, and I'll keep an open mind to others and their choice. :peace:
