Recently picked up a Pedersoli .36 cal . long rifle in caplock configuration ! Is this rifle convertible to Flint lock ?? If so , where would i look for instructions , and prices for parts needed ??? Thanks in advance ! Bill

Try calling L&R Lock. I think they can answer your question. You will have to remove the drum and install a touch hole liner. You will also have to remove some wood in order to fit the new lock if you can indeed convert.

I do not know what particular percussion Pedersoli you have, but I do have their Scout in 32 caliber, and I have both the flint and percussion lock for it. Changeover takes but a few minutes, and I have had no issues shooting either configuration. Maybe let us know what Pedersoli model you have, or contact Pedersoli and ask them directly. They will likely need more information than you have provided.

I have the Pedersoli 50cal Kentucky. many of the Pedersoli rifles use a generic lock same as pictured by SDSmlf above. My Kentucky has both Flint and Percussion same as above and it`s a 3min switch over.
