look her right in the eyes and say "Know your place woman!"

Let me know how this approach works for ya :shocked2:

Josh,

How do you get your hat to fit over the lumps?

:blah: :blah: :blah:

Well, I suppose you can do that, your birthday isnt too far off, neither is mine for that matter. There will have to be conditions and negotiations, but I am sure we can agree on the terms. One is that I get to design the gun rack and you can help build it, but you are mostly going to be muscle for that....

Hmm... I'm down for that, (moving negotiations to yahoo IM :p)

I want to try that "It followed me home" one time just for kicks

A $40,000 Volvo SUV that she wanted worked wonders for me.
Especially when I gave her my "hunting funds" cash savings for part of the down payment. :)

I just threw it out there as an idea. never said I used it :nono: . I kinda like the shape of my head the way it is  . If that one doesn't work you could always try " get in the kitchen and make me a pie woman!" :haha:

"Honey. I can't decide between a motorcycle or a new rifle. Which do you think?"

Substitute "mistress" if you think that would work better. My wife knows I ain't gonna hook a trout fishing with stinkbait so she won't fall for that one.

Compare how much she spends on clothes, purses and shoes in one year with how much a new rifle would cost. Bet you come out ahead at a cheaper price.

However, as with anything else, it is ALL in the presentation.....(Remember to duck!)

This year, my wife wanted to see Celine Dion in Las Vegas before she ended her tour there. Well, we went (my credit card is still smoking from that one...) I am saving that nice little spending expedition as ammo for when I want to buy something expensive...

I will let you know if I get anywhere with it...

I never let it get out of hand in the first place. From the time the Wife discovered I accumulated firearms of all kinds, (roughly the first date there about's) She figured out that this is one of the things I do. She has no interest in them, never will and doesn't interfere. The real secret is we budget an allowance for each of us. What we do with that allowance is up to the individual. Has worked well for 28 yrs.

My Wife made it very clear to me decades ago that if anything should ever "follow me home" I wouldn't be able to afford the price.

If a gun really truly follows you home I might let you keep it, if I decide I don't want it for myself :blah: ok ok you can atleast let me shoot it on occasion.

greetings trench,

be vary carefull. i have been retired for 15 years. the wife and i have been together 24hrs a day for all that time..

when i get on her nerves, she'll say 'why don't you go out and buy a gun or something'.. seems like a good system to me.. one day she got in MY nerves. so i said 'why don't you go out and buy a gun or something.. so she left and came back a few hours later with a white cadillac.. :shocked2:

allways be carefull with what you say...

..ttfn..grampa..

She tote's a 400+$ Coach purse & a $200 Coach wallet & Tell's me she want's me to have what I want! :shocked2:

No problemo here. Connie encourages me to buy all the guns we can afford. I know my guns and know a bargain when I see one. When I get ready to sell I always turn a hefty profit. She doesn't mind hobbies that turn hefty profits.

SMO,
Mrs snake is very forgiving with what I
purchase, but I would sure like to barrow Mrs
SMO for a day or two:wink::rotf::hmm:
Mrs snake has a hand made elk hide purse.
She carries nothing but nothing in. Does not
even own a wallet and money and credit cards
are carried in her very tight fitting Levi's.

Like that! They are investments, and all were bought at great prices and will not diminish in value!
