Howdy, all. Chris, from Conway, Arkansas. I am a firearms enthusiast, but only started thinking about flintlocks very seriously recently, as I've been reading about early American history. I think that the only time I've ever seen one, really, was in middle school--one of our teachers did a demo. I guess he was a re-enactor. I'm a college professor, a ham radio operator, a beekeeper, and a really really poor mandolin player. I am looking forward to learning about flintlocks. Lurking through the forums has already answered many of my questions. I hope that you won't consider me a pest if I ask some that are still nagging at me. --C
