Hey fellers, got a Betty lamp done. I made it out of scrap pieces of copper flashing and used a piece of all cotton seat filler cord for the wick. Used a piece of 10 ga. copper wire for the lid bail and an 8 penny nail for the hinge pin. For fuel I used deer tallow and beeswax (my PB lube). It's a little different than the usual, but, you can carry it around and set it on a table. Hope ya like...Bud

Looks good Bud! :hatsoff: How did you get that nice patina on the copper? Seems like I should know but can't seem to come up with the process to it in my mind!
