Cow’s Knee

Made myself a cow’s knee and took a different approach to securing it. Rather than tying the laces, I added 2 antler buttons and simply do a quick wrap around the button for easy off. I used some nice bison leather for the body.

The button and lace is easy and quick to get on or off. I have been meaning to make a cow's knee and may just steal your idea.

I used bell shaped fishing sinkers on mine.....
They’re sewn into the end of each strap.
The weight keeps the straps in place .

But buttons will work too....
