This started off several years ago as a response to friends in a (MUCH) different forum and eventually found it's way into Muzzle Blasts a few years ago. I will swear on a stack of flint locks that it is all true. - And if anyone who was there happens to read this, I'd love to hear from you again!

Well, first off... Glad you all liked the story. One thing I've found is that the older I get, the easier it is to laugh at myself - Actually, I've never had a problem with laughing at myself in retrospect - It's just that now I can laugh at me while the fubar is still happening.

My best friend once told me - after a particularly silly mis-adventure - "If you write about this, I'll swear I'll kick your butt!" Then he smiled and said, "But I hafta' admit that I'll be laughing while I do it!"

Well, time to head back out on the road again - Tho' it seems I might have a short week for a change! - Till next time!
