I guess that makes sense. I'm just out of step with all this modern stuff. Including how to delete a post that I just made! The first bidder probably bid $280 as a max bid, but since the auction started at $250 his max bid wasn't applied.

Sad but true.Panic buying, yes. On the other hand there is reasonable expectation that democrats will continue to assault the second amendment, and that firearms related issues will continue to be inimical to firearms owners. Most of us can see this trend continuing to the eventual ruination of the second amendment.
remember that for every A$$, there is a toilet seat & for every toilet seat there is an A$$!!Maybe we could make guns out of toilet paper! Talk about rare. Think how much money THEY would go for!
wait till buyers REMORSE set's in!!A Uberti/Taylors 1858 just sold for $681 on Gunbroker. Dixie has them in stock for $370. Am I missing something?
there you go! IT LIVES!! just when you thought you have seen every thing?? remember, never leave home with out toilet paper, in case you get caught short??View attachment 67144I doubt they would be worth a manure if you did. Maybe if you used Bounty, They may become a quick picker upper. Let’s examine that shall we?View attachment 67145View attachment 67145
stupid is as stupid does!!Yes, you are missing stupidity.....Back when you could sell guns on eBay, I sold a lot to New York for way more money than they were worth. I just chalked it up to in inability to get them locally.
You are 100% right, people think its a deal because they are at a auction and just keep bidding. I brought a sheep once at a auction, taught me not to talk with my hands. An old farmer told me he never goes to auctions, once people start bidding they loose track of the cost.
Just indicate SOLD, or whatever in the remarks on your auction and Zonie or one of the moderators will see and change itYou can't delete posts on this forum, and the editing time is limited to 15 minutes, I believe.
Save toilet paper. Eat more cheese.there you go! IT LIVES!! just when you thought you have seen every thing?? remember, never leave home with out toilet paper, in case you get caught short??
Or MRE’s...Save toilet paper. Eat more cheese.
Sadly i see this as true. BP revolvers of any flavor may be up double if not more. Those with conversion cylinders even more. We are in for some sad if not scary times ahead.Do not sell anything yet. Wait a few months if you have revolvers. The reason that
BP revolvers are valuable is that there is often little or no record of them. There is little
need to regulate them. They will serve for a last-ditch defensive gun but are not
effective for gangland battles. They are low on the list of dangerous weapons.
Also the items needed to make them go bang are more difficult to regulate. I do
not think the conv-cylindrs are an issue. The guns are ballistically equal with the
original percussion cylinders. People on gun broker get excited and pay door buster
prices foolishly. BUT WITH INFLATION RUNNING WE ALL WILL PAY MORE.
my experience with MRE'S is that the toilet paper companies don't make enough of it for human consumption after eating them!!!??Or MRE’s...
Most of the time they bound me up. I’d put out dry hard deer pellets practically, which wasn’t such a bad thing really given the miserly little bit of TP they contained.my experience with MRE'S is that the toilet paper companies don't make enough of it for human consumption after eating them!!!??
