I use it exclusively. Melt some in a pan and dump the stacks of patches in the melt and watch it soak on up. I tried numerous over the counter stuff with questionable results and at much greater cost.
 
I tried it once and got about 4 shots before I had to swap. Never tried it again, but it did smell good. Kind of like fried chicken.
 
When I'm making "Roll Yer Own" paper cartriges, once I've dropped the ball into the end and tied it off, I dip the ball end of the cartrige into molten Crisco and let it cool before putting in the powder charge. Works very well, indeed.
