Wanted a Crockett rifle kit for awhile now to see what I could do with it besides just putting it together straight out of the box.
After 4 weeks of tinkering with it this is what became of it.
Got rid of the cheesy aluminum ramrod and went with a hickory rod. Thin down to ramrod thimbles. Thin down forearm. Took the hump out of the stock comb. Put in a couple carvings, then finished it with a poor attempt at antiquing.
The kit was cheap enough so it was done....just because!
