curly maple stock is in....need help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your welcome! It is suprising how much difference a little thing like that can make, especially when it is coupled with a lot of drop in the stock.

I have seen more than the 5/16 I mentioned above but the gun I am thinking about had about 7 inches. I would guess some right handed shooter lost his right eyesight and rather than learn to shoot left handed he had this really wierd stock made. Either that or he was a True Believer in the "Dominant Eye" theory. ::
 
You're cutting the stock lengthwise down the middle, right? :haha:

That way you can have two HALF STOCKED muzzleloaders... :winking: :haha:

It's a good thing the stock is not made of spruce in the patch box area... That would be a pine in the butt... :haha: :winking:

HA HA haa haaaaaaaaaaaaa... "ahem"

All you need now is a saw, or a friend that has one...

Safty tip: (from the RED GREEN show)
Remember to count your fingers before and after every cut, that way you'll know whether or not you should be sifting through the saw dust. :haha:
