I was down to the event this morning. A very nice outing indeed.
I'm of the understanding it is held over by Cooks Forest each year and was moved to the present site for some reason. I hope it stays here in the future.
Seemed to be folks from neighboring states there also.
Bought a cows horn from one of the vendors and am going to attempt to fashion it into a powder horn. The fellow I bought it from and another re-enactor spent considerable time with me on the basic steps of making a powder horn. I'm quite sure I'll be picking the heads of many of the members here before I'm done.
