This is a very pretty .36 Southern or Tennessee style longrifle built by Lewis Smith. It has a 42" barrel with a very good bore. Nicely figured Maple stock with iron fittings, including banana or Bean patchbox. LOP is 13.75". Weight 8lbs. The frizzen was broken and is included for fitting. No ramrod. My loss is your gain. $800 + SHIPPING.

I would like to see a clear, close up picture of the lock mortise with the lock removed.
Is the bolt that holds the frizzen removable? This area of the gun appears poorly cared for, rusted and pitted with powder residue.
Have you ever shot this gun? Is there an unfired load in the barrel?
You say the bore is very good. How do you define "Very Good"? Is there ANY pitting in the bore? Your picture of the bore is too fuzzy to tell much about it.
Are you the original owner of this gun? If not where did you get it?
