Reduced This is a really fine custom .50 flintlock Soddy Daisy rifle built by Daniel Coats. It has a 48" straight taper Rice Barrel with mirror bright bore. Rifle fired about 20 times by Mr. Coats. Lock is Kibler and triggers by Bob Roller. The rest of the rifle handmade. The walnut stock is hand carved in the traditional style. Very curved butt has no buttplate, just hand forged toe plate and horn heel plate. Mr Coats "antiqued" rifle in barn rifle style, painting the stock and barrel with black paint and then wiping part of it off to give a worn look. I removed paint from barrel but like it on the stock. Hand poured pewter nose cap. Trigger guard hand forged. Sleek, wispy rifle in a style not often seen. $1100 + SHIPPING.
