Does anyone know of any person or company making custom leather stamps and punches? I'd like a set of stamps to make small (maybe very small) turkey and deer tracks, as well as one of my initials followed by the Roman numeral 2. I'd also like a punch to create the scalloped border seen on the top cover's front edge on my latest bag posting.
I did it by pounding a stamp through the thin leather, but that is not feasible for long.

Thanks,
Dave

I'm not where I can take any photos, but I've made a number of my own stamps out of wood (hard maple) and out of plain iron bar stock- The wood using a rasp and a sharp knife, the iron using a file and determination. A lot of fun actually, and not that hard to do though taking a little time.

For the scalloped edge cut you made, you could do the same thing attacking the end of a piece of pipe with a grinder or file to cut back the part you don't want hitting the leather, then a file to sharpen the edge. Just pound a piece of maple into the other end to give you a decent surface for your mallet to strike.

Get a set of the number/letter stamps metal fabricators use, make up any thing you want, change as you want.

While they don't make custom punches and stamps Weaver Leather sells several different ones. :idunno:
