I have heard that Jukar barrels can actually yield some pretty good accuracy and it seems like you have nothing to lose so my vote is to make a pistol out of it. I have seen people use chopped rifle bbls for pistols on the inter web and the folks who do it claim they shoot very well.
 
I'm with Zonie......pretend your in the hills of 1810.....how could you re-purpose this?
