I took the dogs for a run the other day, packed the 50 CVA along just to discharge it, had been loaded since early Dec. for our MLZ season, but life got in the way. 80 grs of 2FF PRB 15ths patch, wasp nest for under patch. 60yds 20 degrees, it hit high center. a 12" target off hand Happy trapper. Patched it clean yesterday couldn't believe how much fowling from just one shot, was thinking to had to be the cold?

Maybe some lube in the chamber that soaked into some of the powder over time, but not enough to kill the charge ? High humidity isn't usually an issue here in MT. If your chamber was dry, the wasp nest should have prevented any patch lube from causing it. Weird. SW

I dried the BBL before loading with -30 WWF and patch dry, then loaded it. I am anally retentive about keeping them clean.
