CVA Barrel With Bolster Removed, Salvagable or Junk?

He relined a Numrich barrel with a patent breech for me a few years back but he may not work on a CVA style breech.

I stand corrected. It was CVA and Traditions specifically, now that you mention it.

I just replaced a drum for a CVA .50. mountaineer that was so corroded the nipple flew out when it was fired with only 40 grains. Track of the wolf sells a CVA replacement drum. I tried it today and the rifle works fine.

BY THE WAY, I DRILLED OUT THE .50 CAL ‘MADE IN USA’ BARREL TO 20 GAUGE SNOOTHBORE. IT MY “GO TO” FOR ANYTHING BIG AND SCARY OR GROUSE, PHEASANT, QUAIL OR RABBIT.
