.45 Cal CVA Colonial Percussion Pistol Kit. Describing it as new in box sounds a little silly but it's not untrue. Kit is complete and in decent shape. Folks are always looking for these old kits for a fun project and this one needs a new home.

I have put a couple of these kits together.

My only issue with it is them calling it a Colonial Pistol while making it with a percussion ignition system.

Not a bad pistol, shoots fairly well.

Is the front site dovetail not cut in the barrel? I see the front site in the parts pic, but how does it attach? Might just be me being dumb, but I'm puzzled.

No dovetail, the front sight looks like a peg so presumably you would have to drill a hole to set that or cut a dovetail and use a different sight. It's very common to see these assembled without a front sight and I think that's why. Casual builders just skip it.
