This is an unstarted Colonial Pistol kit. None of the parts have been fitted and there is quite a bit of wood that needs to be removed for function and aesthetics. There is some blotchy light rust on the exterior of the barrel, the ramrod and the inside surface of the lock tumbler. Bore is shiny and interior of drum is clean.
The kit is nearly complete, only missing front and rear sights and a small machine screw that attaches the front of the trigger guard to the trigger plate. Barrel is stamped "Dikar," which I suppose speaks to the shared tooling between Ardessa, Jukar, and Dikar -although they would later adopt trade names for the US market like CVA and Traditions...so the instructions say CVA, but parts from older inventory. This is a 45 cal percussion gun.
