Handy little rifle. Not in the best shape but plenty serviceable, and a good starter muzzleloader, especially for a youth. The hammer cup in is good shape. Some pitting in the bore. Little bit of bluing coming off around the breech, and the drum doesn't quite mate up with lockplate well. Fiberglas ramrod is a tad short and even with the jag it doesn't stick out of the barrel, but the jag does hide a ball puller that theoretically could reach a ball if there was ever a load in it. Maybe the next owner could add a ferrule to the other end of it to extend it? Original tang bolt was replaced with brass by a previous owner.
$225 $185 shipped CONUS where legal. PM if interested.

Isn't the Frontier the same as the CVA Bobcat just with a little more brass? If so, they are cheap guns price wise. But with the right load and a little lock work they can be a tack driver!

I have a revolver I'm about to buy or I'd get it myself. I have a Bobcat with a good barrel. I'd swap them out then bore that one to a .54 smoothbore and put it on the Bobcat stock. That would make a good pair of guns!
