cva frontier value?

well the local gun store has a cva frontier rifle for 95 bucks. what should i look out for? :surrender:

I just looked and found one for sale for $69. It looked like it was in excellent shape.

If the bore is in decent shape and the lock works it`s a good deal for $95.

Aside from the obvious look for rust in the bore and wear around the crown of the bore. As to the price, I sold one last summer for $140. So the price is good in my book. :hmm:

Is it the one with double set triggers, flint or percussion. Here in PA almost any flint lock with double set triggers is worth $175 even in fair condition.

I would say if the bore of the barrel is good buy it its a good deal. And they are fun! :grin:
