I tried to locate some brass thimbles, and was hard to locate. So i found some brown steel thimbles and they will hold up better than brass. The threads will not pull on them as likely as brass. Just a little work and it will be good, have to put longer screws in the end cap.other than that it is a nice rifle. :hatsoff: :thumbsup:
 
I have a question of my own for everybody. What's the difference between a Hawken, Mountain, Plains and Frontier rifle? They all look very similar to me except for minute differences.
