CVA info??

Old barrel I believe was from a kit build. CVA FRONTIER (Spain) 85 343114
Probably 45 or 50 caliber. Junk bore replaced with GM 32. Any guess what age?

1985 would be my guess . I have a CVA that has first two numbers are 86 then a space and the rest of the serial number . I figure it to be 1986 manufacture. FBC

Maybe...Spain's dating system on proofed barrels uses a different system. However, those barrels may not have been proofed prior to export (meaning the breech was not attached before leaving Spain) and those date do likely reflect the date of manufacturing.

The system 1995 onwards is first two digits are a manufacturer, second two digits type of firearm (shotgun, muzzleloader ect) serial number with the LAST two digits date of manufacturing.
