The musket nipple is most likely the issue if you are sure the lock bolt is not rubbing on the hammer. Might take some tweaking of the hammer cup and the nipple to get a good fit.

Their supply of CVA parts has dwindled significantly. They do not have much left. I have 5 CVA rifles and pistols. Not a problem with the springs on any of them. Mountain rifle has issues with trigger plate to Sear fit. That is solved by shimming the front of the trigger bar. But the OP says his triggers work great. Over tightened lock bolt, or mixing up the two lock bolts can cause the tip of the bolt to rub against the hammer, slowing it down. Improper nipple alignment can cause problems with detonation. This is a common CVA issue due to the design of the bolster and assembly issues.
Really good advice.
