To all,
I just picked up a CVA Longrifle for $20.00...too good of a deal to pass up. All the parts are there except for all the screws.
It is the rifle with the 2 Piece Stock; the one with the brass spacer at the joint.
My question is this. The stock has (2) pins in the back half of the stock. How is this stock joined? Epoxy it together? Are there more pieces missing than I know about that are used to join the stock?
If anyone has a "You Can Build It" book for this gun, I'd be willing to buy it.
I'd also consider buying a one-piece replacement stock for it, since I have so little invested in all the other parts, if the stock was mostly inletted (my skills are not up to inletting a lock, trigger, etc.).
Any input you guys have would be greatly appreciated.
