I figured I would post my pictures of my "new" rifle... I think it's a mid eighties model, I don't know how to tell what the rifling is but it says Missouri on the side and I looked on their website and they don't make it anymore... Any info would be great!

Back in the day they were advertised as having a 1/66. I was wanting one. They were called "The Missouri Ranger" and I thought they were cool.

One way to figure out your twist is to mark a cleaning rod and with a jag and a tight patch or even a brush push it in the barrel. If it makes half a turn in 2 ft it is a 1-48 and so on.

I was missing the word 'ranger' when I was originally googling. Adding that word helped a heap! Thanks again! found this from 1988:

The first two numbers may be the year of manufacture.

yup, that's what I'm figuring, the serial starts with 87 then a space. I don't know what years they made them though, but this makes sense.
