Just the opposite.
Rods with threaded tips are a pain in the ass. I'm always futzing with tips and thread adapters. If I'm using the rifle's ramrod, I'd just as soon have a permanent loading tip. At least on one end. As I read the product description, that's what they're giving you. They do make clear their rod isn't intended to be a range rod. Threaded tips are useful on cleaning rods and range rods, but not particularly on a rod used for one rifle and one caliber projectile.
