Have a friend that has come across a CVA .36 cal revolver with serial number in the 1700’s. What year did CVA begin making revolvers. It doesn’t have any billboard writing on the gun anywhere.
 
Are the .44 cal CVA revolvers considered to be of good quality? What might there value be? Greg
 
I believe they were made by asm so some excellent and some not so great. As to value, Ive bought and sold a few at the same prices I would have paid or sold asm’s for.
