CVA Squirell Rifle

Gang - Looking at one of these in .32cal. How is CVA (no experience with them) locks, accuracy, etc.?

I purchased a used one in LH mod a couple years back for my sons and was very impressed. It shoots both conicals and prb one hole at 25 yd. Oh, it also has set trigger!

I have one I built from a kit , around 20 years ago . The accuracy sucked , until I recently replaced the adjustable rear sight (IMO , a piece of junk) and the front sight , with a semi-buckhorn fixed(drift adjustable) rear sight , and a nickle silver (file adjustable) front sight . I also switched from using .310 roundball , .015 patch , to .315 roundball , .010 patch . So far , my best 3 shot group @ 25 yards is 9/16" :thumbsup: (your results may vary :grin: ) . My advice ? Go for it !

bought one in a kit about 20 years ago..wood was nothing special, but the gun shoots well...don't use it much, but it was handy for teaching my then-12 year old grandson...Hank

They are great little entry rifles - a lot of bang for the buck. I have early 32 and 36 Squirrels. Use the 36 sometimes for predator calling, and it just fine. Never got around to the 32 though as a nice Cherokee was picked up soon after getting it.
