I have a Kentucky CVS I have a nostalgic feel for. My question is, is there a stronger coil spring I can put in it?

Ha ha ha been to the drugstore too often. I meant CVA

Do you mean the main spring for the hammer ? Traditions sells replacement springs that should fit. Can be had for around $10.

These have a leaf spring not a coil, they were notorious for weak mainsprings. The Traditions made rifles use a different lock, I don't know if the spring would work.

I replace CVA broken springs with Traditions.

It will depend on how old a CVA it is. At some point along the line they became what is essentially Traditions now. But the early days the locks were a little smaller and and not quite as good.

I’d get a replacement lock, Track of the Wolf offers one. Then use the original lock as a spare parts set.
