Thanks Bill. Very cool videos. Yes, the device for holding match cord is neat. Notice in the gun shop how they easily remove and replace the breech plugs. The plugs have course threads and just snug flush with the breech face of the barrel. But, the plug is much longer than on European barrels with fine threads and a shorter plug that has a crush value. Just a different way to accomplish the same thing.
What I did on my original jap shooter - I added some high temperature thread sealer that they use for spark plugs in autos. The sealer never actually hardens. So it's still easy to remove the plug if needed.
