True,.... I never mentioned the Ghost ring, because I've never tried one. I just carry a variety of different apertures with me, and sometimes, leave it out, until it lightens up.
I think that's why the peep sight works for older eyes, the rear sight is the first to cause problems, but the front sight is still sharp. With the peep, you can eliminate the rear sight problem.
