well i just finished up my antler measure so as soon as i can pictures i will put em up after i was done it measured out to 80 grains of triple F.
also is it time period accurate to put scrimshaw on items like this?
 
I guess it depends on what "TIME PERIOD" your looking at! Many old antler measures had scratching, filing designs and carving lines engraved on them for decoration and many were just left plain.

Need pics, I'd like to see. Been working on one this afternoon. Too knarly for doing much, but I like antler ball starter/powder measure combos.
 
i'll post some up here in a bit as soon as the coffee gets goin lol i was gonna fire up the forge and make an ax today but its raining so i think im gonna reload some ammo instead.
 
i tried taking some pictures but i cant get it to turn out right but im still trying... so far ive made an antler touch hole pick, a powder measure, and a ball starter to go on my string of things
