Not a bad looking little 3 pt. Six weeks is pretty darn fast to get a mount done. Must be a lot of taxidermists back there in Pa. Congrats.

Looks like two artists were at work. One that got the deer and the other that did the mount. Congratulations just wish I had room on my wall for something like that.
Merry Christmas
Fox

we uns out here in the east would call it a 8 point ::....out west never understood how you guys count points on a deer....it's like you guys aren't giving yourself enough credit for how many points yer deer has...................bob

You'un back east count any littel nub. :: Good thing that buck didn't have an (well we won't go there) but if he had, you would have probably called him a nine pt.  We'un's out west here don't figure we need to count the eye guards and both sides. B'sides, most of us caint count that high anyways, so our way makes it easier on us poor westerners. :: ::

if he was bigger then a 10 point i'd have to take my shoes off myself  so don't feel too bad ....

thx rb....i have a picture of him on my wall but hunt101 won't let me upload it right now???....will soon as possible.................bob

Looks real good Bob, but I think you are supposed to hang them INSIDE!

yeah i know this but wanted to get a good picture in the light....as soon as hunt101 will let me upload it to there site ya all will see it as i would be sitting there watching buckmasters ::..............................bob

Not bad, not bad at all. I had to build a room out back to hang my stuffed critters in. The little woman wouldn't let them in the house. I tried to tell her that the ticks and fleas are all stuffed right along with the critter, but she still didn't go for it.

Taxidermists did a fine job on the mount ,I like that slight turn ,I think my last mount I done cost around $150.00 back in the 70's ,do have about 5 mounts and lots of antler caps hanging out in the attic.I would think now they are getting close to $400.00 these days

Real nice mount there... That is something to look back on and have memories.

Nice mount Bob,

But I don't know about all these guys having to put their mounts out in the garage or attic. No way I'd put up with that! I guess that's why I've been married a few times.

My whole house looks like a hunters museum. She has one picture in the living room of her deceased father. The rest she has decorated in outdoorsman theme for me. Maybe I'm just blessed what about the rest of you guys?

I told the wife when we first met how it was and she's been gracious and understanding from the get go about my first love. LOL!

The first thing I told her when we met was this is a bachelors pad and when you're done in the bathroom the seat stays up!

We've gotten along great ya just got to set em straight in the beginning! :blah:!

Bob, Nice, Really Nice. I don't have one like that yet. With such a nice Christmas present as that why do you need another one. Why don't you call Slowpoke and tell him not to worry you are happy enough with your nice buck. :haha: :haha: :haha:

but i think it would be a nice gun for my son to use when he gets out of the army in two years....besides that gun would look good no i take that back it would look great under that buck on the wall....don't ya think ::.................bob

Good to see you here, River Rat. Antler restrictions, are indeed paying off. Here's a picture of one that was taken just a little closer to home than Pike County... Rick
BTW, Bob, nice mount!
