know what you mean about draging those deer for a looong way. the last couple dozen i shot were hit so they would just make if to the side of the road and expire..

can't figure out how to get them to climb up on the roof or in the bed before they leave this mortal coil.. maybe if i put a few drops of scent in or on there???


back to scents.. a lot of people think deer with a scent should roll in it like a dog with a dead skunk.. or if the deer get a wiff of it they will charge across two counties breaking down trees and knocking over cars to get to the source..

that is not how scents work.. what they do is, peak the animals curiosity or break it's concentration for just a second or two and sometimes abit longer... this gives the shooter a small edge.. that second or two pause could make all the diff.
