Dennis Priddy's Powder Horn , No#42.
Made for my good friend Dennis for a trade on building me a rifle. The horn covers the Western expansion of the early settlers and military of the French and Indian wars. Taken from original horns, with my own flare, I covered this with lots of things to look at. The spout is of brass I made with a spring lever to cover your powder. The piece un-screws for easy refill. The end butt cap that is pictured is of the British coat of arms, that was predominate of early French Indian war powder horns. This was in trade with a Michigan Toothpick knife of D-2 steel, a similar one is picture elsewhere. Thank you Dennis.
