Today I looked at the DGW site and saw they had 1851 Navies in .36, and they were in stock. I called them and talked to a nice lady who checked and said they actually had them in stock, so I ordered one from her personally. She said It would be five or six weeks before shipping as they were seriously backed up. I said that was ok. Now all I have to do is wait and see if it actually ships. Nice people.

From what I understand, DGW was hit hard by the Covid-19 virus and is coping with getting back to normal operations. They have always been very good to me in the past.

Too bad Dixie GW had the Chinese virus debacle. I'm sure they will recover. We have a large salvage/ hardware store that had around 10+ sales and stocking employees working there. Last Spring , few people here in the area took the virus seriously and people went about their lives as usual. With in weeks , all but three of the store employees got covid in one form or another. There were mostly new faces in the store for quite a while , and some didn't return. Blessings to all................oldwood
They were top notch last summer when I bought a rifle from them. Great service. I am sure they will get back to that soon.

I ordered a rifle from DGW and it took 4 weeks. Right now from what I was told DGW are working on orders placed in February are getting shipped in March. You are looking at April. Congrats!

I was just there in person yesterday. They’re doing the best they can given the short staff and current demand for all shooting supplies. Wonderful ladies in there and they are busting their butts to catch up.
