For $100 you got a good buy, plus you made a widow happy because she got rid of some of "his junk". :)

Too bad she didn't also have "some old gun" that has something like HAV KIN marked on the barrel for "...maybe $100 more?".

I'd say so...you probably need to be giving her a Christmas present !
:hatsoff:

As my buddy Roy Horn would say, You done well. The .32 balls at Log Cabin Supply are 10.00 per 100. Case closed Dilly

 this be from the Widow Hawkins??? :hmm: or Widow Claus??? :hmm: gees ya done great! early xmas present! good fer you!

I wonder what the widow was thinking when she went through his old stuff?

"Now why would he have 5 bottles of old man Hogdon's spit?" :rotf:

Looks like you are set for percussion caps for a while...

Wow...what a bargain! That's the reason all my "stuff" is being individually marked w/ reasonable prices so my wife will receive a somewhat decent price if something happens to me. No reflection on you...evidently you're both satisfied.....Fred

Where is our junk going to end up some day? Think of some of the relics that were built by men long dead and far away in Europe in a time when America was literally a New World...

Maybe some of my rifles will end up being shot at Martian flat-cats or hideous aliens 300 years from now...

When I pass on I hope my junk finds a good home with young shooters that will brag about them to their friends too.
