I just bought a juker fullstock pistol in .45 cal.
I know these were the fore runner of the CVA pistols I gave 80 bucks for it. It's got an adjustable trigger and a heavy barrel (15/16) across the flats and shoots quite well,
the sights have been replaced with Lyman sights.

will try to post pics later

one thing that I'll have to do is crown the barrel as it has no crown whatsoever, other than
the beech wood stock it's a nice looking pistol

Did I read your post right? Did you say you paid $80 bucks for a full stocked pistol? In the words of my grandmother--- "A gypsy wouldn't even show you his asss for $80 bucks!"

 :)

Hence, it seems like you paid very little and got a lot.

here's a few pictures

Great price-I have the Traditions version and it shoots great! Basically the exact same pistol except they improved the barrel some.

You done good. I got the same pistol for $75 a few years ago but $80 is a good price.

 Don

you did good! heck, the replacement rear sight would cost you $20 + shipping. I had that type of sight on my .45 springfield stalker....
at least its adjustable. Your gun should be a good shooter!

Thanks all now I need to round up some .440 rb so I can try it out. I hate gettin' new toys and not gettin' to play with them. :(

Did you pay too much??!! Heck no, just put it up for sale here and stand back. Lock ~$80, stock ~$25, sight ~$20, see where this is going? Let us know how it shoots.

I need to find a supply of .440 rb's so will probably have to wait till my next club shoot and talk one of the .45 shooters out of a hand full. will post a range report then

thanks
Galen

Hey 54
I bought one last month in 45 cal at a gun show in South Carolina for $30.00. It looks just like yours except for the sites. Mine has the v site in rear and a brass blade in front. Also the ram rod is missing someone made a homemade one but its to short. Can't find any name or markings on it. Only inside the lock it says Spain. It has the adjustable trigger too. Overall it is in decent shape. I would like to replace all the screws the heads are a little buggered up. Do you have any information on yours or any markings. Where can I look for this information?
I shot it yesterday it shoots fine no misses. I would like to change the sites and take it out for some target shooting. I have a mold so I can make my own round balls.
Any information would be appreciated.

If you are happy with it and evidently you are or you wouldn't have bought it then you didn't pay too much. However if you are disatisfied even $1.00 will be too much.

I haven't shot mine yet as I just got a hold of some balls to fit it the markings mine has are Jukar Spain and black powder only on the barrel these are the only markings that I have found.

i think the price you paid was fine. If you are happy with it, dont make yourself sick over the price. Sometimes we pay A LOT more for something just because we HAVE to have it. I think you purchased a fine pistol.

The flat to the left of the top center on the barrel has fine grinding marks on mine. No other markings except inside the lock is marked spain. The lock looks just like others I have seen on CVA guns. Is this where yours is markered Jukar etc. I am thinking or changing the sites to Lyman
Thanks
Fred
