Just noticed a few of you use eagles in your avatar, and thought some of you might be interested in this. I'm sometime surprised how few people know about this (even locals).

Thanks, good readin'. We have basicly the same thing here in Colorado, down west of Pueblo. I have been a couple times, pretty neat stuff. The Division of Wildlife sets up portable blinds with spotting scopes to check 'em out. Great for the kids, both young and old.

They are nice people there. Mary Beth Garrigan was the head of it when I was president of the Winona Audubon. They put on programs for us with their eagles in classroom settings as well as bringing them to one of our annual picnics. Amazing birds both in stature and symbol.

Is there some feature or preference I can set so my words appear as in the above example?

Or does it "switch-on" automatically after one has made 2000+ posts?

We're also a wintering area for bald eagles. Goldens are here all yr. but balds just winter here. Sometimes see 10 or 12 sitting in a tree, sometimes right in town.
