Anyone visited Dixie lately? I always wanted to get there, but had no reason to travel at this time. Is it still relevant, with many used long rifles, etc., for sale? Times are really changing, and I hope they are still top retailers and educators. I've gotten the catalog every year since the mid-60's, always enjoyed them!

Don’t know where you live but I drove about 3 hrs to get there a few months back. It was worth the trip. Everything in the catalog is not on display as in your local Dollar General, but the gals behind the counter are very knowledgeable. They had quite a bit of clearance items (think parts) that are available.

I was there 4-5 years ago, not what they once were but still worth the visit if you are in the neighborhood.
