Dixie Gunworks delays?

Does anyone know what's going on with Dixie?
Thought I'd ask on this forum......I know they're really busy and behind etc., but 7 to 8 weeks to ship is not normal for Dixie.

I ordered .626 roundballs from Track on 2/2.
I received an email stating that it would take 4-7 days for a tracking number too be generated...
They finally changed my card today, but I haven’t received a number yet.
It seems demands are up and still people are getting sick as well causing shipping delays..

They have been swamped and hit by covid. Four weeks from time of order to delivered to my door. You will get it but if it's needed right now best to order elsewhere.

It took me 5 weeks for my guns. The reason for the delay is that UPS is backed logged.

Remember we are recreating the past. Four weeks time for a delivery is historically correct.

My order for a very high cost firearm with 2-day shipping was recently received in 2+a few days. My other order shortly following that one for a lesser cost firearm at regular shipping was received within 4 weeks. If you are in a hurry, buy big dollar items and pay for express shipping. That seemed to grease the wheels.

While not from DGW, a gun was sent to me via 2nd Day Mail - I got it 3 weeks later.

But when did they get it into 2-day mail? DGW is behind in packing and shipping. It’s not all on USPS. The retailers take variable times to get your order out the door.

I bought a rifle from DGW last summer and they shipped right away. But they did say they had never seen anything like the rush on firearms they were seeing.

Yeah same here. Ordered a Brown Bess last week, called today to check on the status: they're just behind with shipping is all.

I ordered a P53 Enfield and it arrived 3.5 weeks later... just like they list on their front page 3 to 4 weeks to shipping.
