SOLD Dixie Pedersoli 10ga. Double

This is an older, good condition Dixie Pedersoli 10ga. Side by side double muzzleloading shotgun. Has excellent bores. S/N is 17633. Am selling to settle my late Brother in law’s estate. Has shot and power pouches, shot and wads. Has been used and shows age and handling marks. $850. Will consider reasonable offers. Thanks to all.

Does it have a front bead? What is the LOP? Any idea if the barrels are choked?

There are two beads; front and mid. Length of pull is approx. 14.5" from the front trigger to midpoint on the curved buttplate and 13.5" from the rear trigger to the midpoint on the buttplate. It does not have removeable choke tubes and there are no choke markings I can see. Thanks for your interest.

That looks to be the old style Pedersoli with an attached breach, not a one pice barrel. If so, it should weigh shy of 7 pounds, and is a very nice 10 to carry and shoot. I have one. There should be a square with two letters or numbers inscribe on the barrel, that gives you the production date of the gun using the key located in the permenant section of the forum (I forget whether its in the top or the top of smoothbore).

I'm surprised this is still on the market too, I just paid $1,100 for the 12 gauge unassembled, unfinished kit version of this.

I know it's not usual practice here given the average age of this forum, but I would not ship a gun until I have the payment in my account, and cleared.

Most states have localized hunting forums, or at least regional. You might have better luck trying a hand-to-hand transaction there. People trade and sell guns on another forum that I'm on for hunting in my state all the time, and they're all face to face.

It's a good site to list on. I checked it often to see what was for sale. A Shotgun at a time passes threw.

Most people 800+ is a lot for any gun that not "modern"... though for anyone who needs and or wants one it's a good price.
