I know someone asked if there were any pics from Dixons - but as another angle - does anyone have any comments they would like to share on this years offerings from Chuck? What was worth while ,and not so worthy, for example.

The Indian Trade gun seminar was not at all what I expected, but it was very interesting. It was on archaeology, a bit on trade patterns, and the metallurgy of the Indian guns found in the Southeast US. I thought it was going to be examples of stock profiles and different furniture, but instead it was spark tests and French wrought iron vs. English primitive "steel."

I just caught the end of "Solving Problems in Gunbuilding," but the discussion was lively and informative. The hornmakers' guild presentation on powderhorns had a lot of interesting stuff for a beginner like me, and all the presenters were only too glad to answer questions and talk afterwards - made it impossible for me to get to the next seminar on time! :)

All in all, if this is what you're asking, I thought it was great. :hatsoff:
