how was it this year....i couldn't go this year as alot of ya know............bob

Hey Bob, I hope things are going well. The fair was like last year, sunny and hot. Pretty much the same as last year, lots of great vendors and people. They fired the cannon more this year.
I only went on Saturday, I seen Birdman, BaldMountainMan, and another forum member but I forgot his name. Take care and get well soon.

Ya missed a good one Bob, course every year at Dixon's is good as ya well know. Sure nuff met RR n several others. All right fine fellas in my book. It was as usual a hot one with the hum-adity off the scale.Plenty of guns n everything else ya can think of to drool over n never enough money in the pocket to buy everything. Been doing this crazy hobby for better the 20 years n still find something to buy. Picked up a real nice folding knife with a squared end to the blade(common sailors style of the times). The flintknapper I work with while there sold a ton of flints as well as beads n such, he went home happy. From the looks of things I figure most of the venders had a good event. Hope yer feelen better n take care YMHS Birdman
