Anyone take photos that they'd like to post? My schedule made me miss the fair this year :( and it would dull the pain if I could see some pics.

Thanks

Sorry...no pics but I had a good time and spent $$. Chambers kit in my future..Jim and Barbie are great people.

Hanz...Pretty cool. I was standing behind you a few feet and to the right while you were video taping. I remember a guy, seems it was you video taping.

I to had a great time and spent some $$. Every year I go I say I'm taking the camera and never do...Oh well next year. I just got a new "Flip Camcorder". It's the size of a small digital camera.

I must have been blocking your view a bit. Did you catch any glare off my baldspot?

I'm new to BP so I was a bit overwhelmed and most of the vendors were just too busy for me to get a feel of what I'm looking for. I'll have to make it back to Dixon's to get a better idea of what I want in a BP gun.

Hanz...It could be a bit overwhelming. It's allot to take in. I'm not so overwhelmed by the guns it's all the other stuff that gets me and the wallet. :surrender:

You need to get an idea of what style of rifle you like or need (reanactor or rendouvous) then decide on who you want to make it if custom or maybe a production gun will suit your needs to start. Go to the store and talk it up with the guys, search the internet, books, you'll find it. There are some great smith's that frequent this site that you can contact.

You were good I just moved over out of the glare

Did you see the guys forge welding a barrel from scratch. Wow that is allot of work. Rifling machine in the barn was cool. I walked in as they were putting on a demo.
